APPOINTMENT POLICY
Appointments can be booked online through our booking system. A valid card is required to secure your appointment.
Please ensure you are selecting the correct service when booking. If you are unsure which service to choose, please contact us before scheduling your appointment.
DEPOSIT POLICY
Services require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
Deposits go toward the total cost of your service and secure your appointment time. Deposits are non-refundable and may be transferred if the appointment is rescheduled in the allowed timeframe of 48hrs before your appointment time.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
We kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
+ Cancellation within less than 48 hours of your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit.
+ No-shows will result in the loss of your deposit and may require full pre-payment for future bookings.
This policy allows us to respect our time and accommodate other clients. At SALT+SAND, we understand that things don't always go to plan, and we are here to work through any reasonable cancellations. Reach out if you have any questions.
LATE POLICY
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
+ Clients arriving 10 minutes late will be charged a late fee of $15 on top of the full service price.
+ After 15 minutes appointments are cancelled and need to be rescheduled.
Gentle reminder to account for traffic.
NO SHOW POLICY
Clients who fail to show for their appointment without notice will forfeit their deposit.
Repeated no-shows will result in being unable to book future appointments without full payment upfront.
REFUND POLICY
All services are non-refundable.
Due to the nature of beauty services, refunds cannot be provided once a service has been completed. If you are unhappy with your service, please contact us within 48 hours of leaving your appointment so we can assess the situation and offer adjustments if appropriate.
Refunds are not offered for allergic reactions but your are entitled to a lash removal free of charge.
Should a reaction occur, it is the clients responsibility to seek medical attention at their own expense.
LASH APPOINTMENT POLICY
Please arrive to your lash appointment with:
+ Clean lashes
+ No eye makeup
+ No oils, creams, or skincare on the face
Arriving with dirty lashes may result in reduced appointment time or rescheduling.
LASH FILL POLICY
Lash fills must be booked within the appropriate time frame and must have 40-50% of lash extensions remaining.
If a client arrives to their appointment with less than 40% of lashes remaining, the appointment will be considered a full set, and full set pricing will apply.
Fills performed on work previously done by another artist are not offered. A removal and full set will be needed.
SPRAY TAN POLICY
Before your spray tan appointment:
+ Shower, shave, exfoliate, and moisturize 24 hours before your appointment
+ Do not apply lotion, oils, perfume, deodorant, or makeup before your appointment
+ Wear loose, dark clothing after your appointment
Failure to follow pre-care instructions may affect results and will not qualify for adjustments.
HAIR/DREAD EXTENSION POLICY
Hair extension orders require full payment before the hair is ordered (service cost to be payed on the day of your appointment)
Because hair extensions are custom ordered, they are final sale and non-refundable.
Clients are advised to attend a consultation before ordering hair to ensure proper colour matching, length selection, and installation planning.
GUEST POLICY
To maintain a relaxing environment and allow full attention during services, we kindly ask that no more than 1 additional guest attend your appointment.
CHILDREN POLICY
For safety and comfort, children should not attend appointments unless they are receiving a service, or previously approved.
PAYMENT POLICY
Full payment is required at the completion of your service.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who displays inappropriate behaviour, arrives sick, or does not follow salon policies.
AFTER HOURS POLICY
Appointments outside of business hours may be available for an extra fee of $20. Contact us to ensure availability.
POLICY AGREEMENT
By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all salon policies. These policies are in place to protect the time and services reserved for each client. Failure to comply with salon policies may result in appointment cancellation, forfeiture of deposits, additional charges, or refusal of future services.
